Discover the joy, the simplicity and the forgiveness of the Beatitudes.

Praying
Listen to the Word of God and in so doing you will always find a road into prayer -paying important attention to praise, intercession and silence. Your thanks to God is part of your daily life. Prayer is the source of love, the breath of life, and it always centres you on Jesus Christ, who brings you close to God and to others.

Bring before the Father the people with whom you live and work and with whom you are journeying. Let God's Spirit to fill your heart with love for all men and women and for the whole world.

Before the Lord alone, as a couple or as a family, with the brothers and sisters He gives you, regularly take time to be still, to be silent, to listen to His Word, to sing, to cry.

Welcoming others
At all times and in all places, welcome others and be attentive to each person and to each thing : God is present in everything.

Welcome and accept others just as they are- with their plans, their joys, their worries. Listen and be available, it is a mutually enriching experience. To welcome others is an outward sign of prayer.

Keep your home and your table open and welcoming, generous and simple. Be particularly attentive to those around you who can't speak up for themselves, who are in need or excluded.

Sharing and fellowship
Let each person express their faith or their doubts, their searching or their sensitivity, in an atmosphere of brotherly love, at the same sharing the source of your hope… Rather than seeking to convince, simply journey with your brother or sister.

Put the gifts and skills which you have received to use in serving others in a friendly and understanding way.

By your regular financial gift, put your hope into practice by participating towards the material needs of God's people.

Unity

Make or seek to make a firm attachment to a local church. Support your church, but take no part in the tragic divisions between Christians. Be passionate about the unity of the Body of Christ, but refuse to enter into controversial areas : love is greater than faith and hope.
Work towards reconciliation within your family and among God's people. Work on that which unites, not that which divides. Accept differences without labelling. Accepting the diversity that each person brings is what builds unity.

In line with Jesus' prayer "that they all might be one", remain open towards all brothers and sisters in the union of the sons of Abraham, and towards anyone who is seeking God. Cast aside any denominational rallying.
